London in December 2026: Christmas & Culture
Leave space between the festive bookings. A gallery, a proper meal and one evening outing often make a better December day than a timetable you cannot enjoy.
Build the day around one booking
Leave space between the festive bookings.
A gallery, a proper meal and one evening outing often make a better December day than a timetable you cannot enjoy. The selections below come from the same event records used by our calendar.
Each keeps its own source-check date. A season or exhibition run is not a promise of a daily performance, and an advertised starting price is not live ticket availability.
Choose your Christmas outing
Start with the kind of day you want, then check the date, ticket and journey.
Source checked · calendar and planning references; individual listings have their own dates.
Source review needed. This planning check is older than seven London days or unavailable. Older event checks are excluded below; verify current details with the linked organisers.

Weather: keep an indoor alternative
This page is not a month-long forecast. Check the Met Office London forecast and warnings close to your visit. An outdoor booking can have weather-related changes; the organiser’s notice is the deciding source.

A flexible plan works better
Pick one area, allow time for the journey and keep an indoor alternative.

Questions, answered
Are the times shown in London time?
Yes. We use Europe/London. November and December 2026 are on GMT; do not convert an evening booking using summer time.
Why are there sometimes fewer than ten picks?
We show up to ten relevant records with a source check from the last seven London calendar days. Missing confirmations and older checks are not filled with guesses.
Does a listing mean tickets are available?
No. A checked programme and a live booking are different things. The official booking page controls available dates, entry slots and the final price.
Are school holidays the same across London?
No. Check your own school or council. GOV.UK provides the council lookup; we do not apply one borough’s dates to every family.
Is this a weather forecast for the month?
No. Keep an indoor alternative and use the Met Office forecast and warnings close to the date you travel.
