Editorial standards
Useful city publishing depends on accuracy, independence, clear sourcing and knowing when information may change.

Sources and claims
Use the responsible organiser, public authority or original publication for changeable facts. A link lets the reader inspect the evidence; it does not mean that the source endorses LONNOW. Distinguish an official fact, an editorial judgement and a planning assumption.
Dates and uncertainty
Publication, content updates, source checks and event dates are different facts. We do not replace an old date just to make a guide look current. A source-check date describes the recorded check, while hours, prices, availability and rules may subsequently change.
Health, immigration and financial decisions
These guides help readers locate official information and formulate questions. They do not provide an individual diagnosis, regulated advice or a claim of specialist review. Use the linked responsible authority and a suitably qualified professional for a decision that depends on personal circumstances.
Original work and illustrations
Planning tools and editorial explanations should add a useful decision to the source material. Generated or editorial illustrations do not prove a site visit and should not be presented as photographs of a particular venue. First-hand visits, interviews or tests require explicit attribution and dates.
Automation and AI
AI and automation can assist research, organisation, writing and site maintenance. They do not establish independent expertise. Time-sensitive claims still need primary evidence; an automated refresh alone is not a content review.
Paid content and selection
Affiliate or sponsored links must be disclosed and marked appropriately. A commercial relationship does not establish availability, value or a recommendation. Rankings and shortlists should explain their criteria and avoid claiming inspections or awards that were not established.
Corrections
Send the exact page URL, the disputed statement and a reliable source to hello@lonnow.com. We assess the evidence, correct a material error and check related pages. Recorded material corrections are listed below; routine formatting changes are not presented as new reporting.
Recorded corrections
- — Replaced the earlier September start and £26 starting tariff with the organiser’s current 20 October start and £20 tariff; clarified that Yuja Wang does not appear in person. View the corrected page
- — Repaired the moved venue URL and distinguished 18:00 doors from the approximately 20:00 performance start. View the corrected page
- — Replaced the removed historical venue listing with the collaborating project’s archive announcement; retained the completed September event record. View the corrected page
- — The month filter now includes exhibitions that began earlier but continue into the selected month, including the October Quentin Blake and Musquiqui Chihying runs. View the corrected page
- — Expired event links are excluded from current homepage recommendations, and duplicated Event/Music links are merged. View the corrected page
- — Today now uses dated events from the existing source-linked calendar; weather loading ends with a timestamped error when a reading cannot be retrieved. View the corrected page
