What is available now
The museum advertises its Star Trek Warp Trail until 13 September 2026. The trail and themed shop are free to enter, while film screenings are paid separately. Book museum admission in advance and distinguish daytime access from the evening programme.

A family route, not an evening assumption
Build a daytime visit around the trail and leave time for children to choose a second gallery. The trail cannot be visited before or after evening film screenings. Star Trek Lates is listed for 8 September, but its separate admission conditions must be checked; it should not automatically be treated as a children’s event.

Give the visit a question
Ask which inventions belong to science fiction and which resemble technologies in everyday life. Older children can compare imagined transport or communication with what they see elsewhere in the museum. You do not need to know every television episode to make the conversation interesting.
