Horniman’s Day of the Dead family festival is sold out

The Horniman marks its 31 October family festival as sold out. That changes the advice: do not travel expecting a free drop-in alternative to the ticketed programme.

The announced event

The festival runs from 11:00 to 16:00 in the Gardens around the Bandstand, with MexiBrit and activities connected to Día de Muertos.

It is a specific ticketed celebration, not a description of the museum’s normal daily programme.

Every admission matters

The event page specifies tickets even for children under two.

Its festival arrangements affect access to the Gardens, so an ordinary-day visit assumption is unsafe for this date. Follow the venue’s current notice rather than a general parks listing.

Choose a confirmed alternative

If no valid ticket is held, make another family plan.

This report does not promise returned tickets or advise bypassing admission conditions. The contextual decoration photograph is not presented as a picture of this year’s festival.
