Do not travel during the maintenance closure
Discover’s official homepage announces a closure from 5 to 11 September. It should therefore not appear as an open attraction for this weekend. Recheck the operator’s dated calendar before a later visit, especially if you are combining it with another East London booking.
What the visit includes
General entry covers the Story Worlds and Story Garden. Additional experiences may need separate selection during booking. The current programme lists Luna Loves London for ages zero–eight, a baby and toddler sensory space for zero–two, and Julian Is a Mermaid storytelling for zero–five.
Keep the schedule age-appropriate
Select one session that fits the youngest participating child, then leave time for unstructured play. A toddler who enjoys free exploration may not be ready for several consecutive seated activities. Distinguish a duration given for one session from the time you want to spend at the centre as a whole.
A practical Stratford plan
Check the centre’s access and arrival information along with your tickets. Keep food and travel breaks outside the booked session time. If the preferred date falls inside the closure, choose another venue rather than relying on an older search result or a booking page that still carries general “open” wording.
