Soft play by age, not only by venue
Swiss Cottage describes its three-storey soft play as for under-tens.
Clissold has separate under-two and ages two–ten areas. At Waltham Forest, the larger Play Park is described as suitable for 18 months–12 years, while the separate soft-play area is for under-threes.
Choose the correct product for each child: an operator’s recommended range is not automatically an admission minimum, and one sibling’s booking does not establish access to both spaces.

Wonderlab, Science Museum
Best for: Hands-on experiments and demonstrations

- Recommended for ages 7–14; the museum also says visitors of all ages enjoy it.

- Separate paid Wonderlab ticket plus free museum admission. Ages 3 and under go free in Wonderlab; other prices vary by date.
- Booking decision
- Reserve both museum arrival and Wonderlab entry. Annual-pass holders also need both selections.

- Science Museum, Exhibition Road; Wonderlab is on Level 3.
- Weather fit
- Indoor gallery; travel, queues and a break still belong in the day.

Plan the journey and the break together
A step-free building entrance does not establish a step-free train journey.
Young V&A publishes Bethnal Green and Cambridge Heath as nearby stations, but names Whitechapel as its nearest step-free station. Read the actual travel route and the venue’s access information before choosing a slot.
Keep a toilet, water and food break in the plan; use one main venue rather than adding a second cross-city reservation as a rainy-day backup.
