Creative Intelligence free weekend: four South Bank routes
Southbank Centre has turned one compact riverside site into a free weekend of AI, digital art, VR music and hands-on computing. This LONNOW route helps you choose by time, age and energy instead of scanning a long programme.

Choose the two-hour route
Start with Liam Young’s eight-minute World Machine film, then cross to Exploration Bazaar for one prototype and one public conversation. This is the clearest route for adults who want ideas without committing the whole day.
Choose the family route
Virtual Orchestra is listed for ages 7+ and needs no previous musical or VR experience. Pair it with the Raspberry Pi Code Club activity inside Exploration Bazaar, then leave space for food and a riverside break.
Choose the hands-on route
Get Your Hands-Dirty with Creative Tech runs drop-in workshops, performances and installations. Saturday includes digital tile design, a 3D clay-printer activation and AlgoRhythms; Sunday adds mud-volts computing and a robots tournament.
Times are not identical
World Machine and Exploration Bazaar begin at noon on Saturday and 10:00 or noon on Sunday depending on the work. Hands-Dirty runs until 20:15 Saturday and 19:30 Sunday. Open the individual LONNOW guide before travelling.
