Make a plan around the right edition
Decide which day suits your group before choosing a meeting place.
Follow the current route and transport advice when issued, rather than a previous edition’s map. Start with the announcement below, then decide whether you need admission, a reservation or a place along a public route.
A date in a search result can belong to a completed edition. Check the year on the organiser’s page before sharing it with your group or paying for travel.
Next edition: Dates to be confirmed — this source check needs review.
Edition announcement source checked . All times Europe/London. Separately dated archive notes retain their own checks.
Source review needed. This planning check is older than seven London days or unavailable. Older event checks are excluded below; verify current details with the linked organisers.
What is actually confirmed?
The organiser lists Sunday 29 August as Families and Children’s Day and Monday 30 August as Adults Day, both free to all. Saturday 28 August’s UK National Panorama steel-band competition is ticketed. No parade start time is assigned here.
Sunday and Monday are listed as free; Panorama and other separately ticketed events are different products. Food and drink are extra.

Keep your next step practical
Save the official page and the instructions that apply to your booking.
A festival window does not mean every activity happens every day, and a tournament date does not identify a particular match. If the timetable is not published, leave the exact start out of your plan rather than filling the gap with last year’s time.
Build a day that still works
Pick one nearby place for a break and agree how your group will get home.
For access needs, check the event entrance and the transport journey separately; a familiar station does not guarantee a step-free route to the viewing area. The transport guide explains the options, but the operator’s current notices and the organiser’s arrival instructions control the actual journey.
Questions, answered
Is the next edition confirmed?
29–30 August 2027; Panorama on 28 August. The organiser lists Sunday 29 August as Families and Children’s Day and Monday 30 August as Adults Day, both free to all. Saturday 28 August’s UK National Panorama steel-band competition is ticketed. No parade start time is assigned here.
Does this page guarantee a ticket?
No. An official edition announcement is different from an available ticket, reserved slot or invitation. Use the organiser’s current booking instructions.
Can I use an old programme to plan the visit?
Use it for background only. Routes, buildings, sessions, access and admission can change between editions; wait for the current instructions before relying on those details.
