What happens

Interactive challenges teach the selected part of the score, followed by a virtual performance of the finale to Rossini’s William Tell Overture on the Royal Festival Hall stage.

02

Plan for children

Southbank Centre lists the experience for ages 7+ and requires under-12s to be accompanied by an adult on site. Explain the headset experience before joining and keep a non-VR alternative ready.

03

Timing

The organiser lists 12:00 starts on both Saturday and Sunday with a broad drop-in window. Free entry does not remove capacity limits, so allow flexibility around queues.

04

Where to go

The experience is in the Blue Side Foyer, Level 4, Royal Festival Hall. Confirm the step-free route and current lift status if needed.

05

Freshness

LONNOW checked the official page on 12 September 2026. The listing automatically leaves active recommendations after 19:30 on 13 September.
