Extra help during water disruption: check the Priority Services Register

Thames Water’s free Priority Services Register is for households that may need extra support. It is worth checking before a disruption makes ordinary arrangements harder.

Who should look

The supplier lists circumstances including disability, long-term health conditions, mobility difficulties and medical needs involving water.

Families with young children and people facing other temporary difficulties may also find relevant support. Eligibility and the help offered depend on the circumstances.

A carer can help with registration

The official page allows someone to register on another person’s behalf.

Discuss what assistance is actually needed and keep the household’s details current. Moving home or changing circumstances is a reason to revisit the record.

Support is not a supply guarantee

Registration does not make water interruptions impossible and is not the same as a bill discount.

Read the supplier’s description of the service and its contact routes rather than assuming a particular delivery or response time is guaranteed.
