District line

TfL’s planned-closures calendar lists no District line service between Edgware Road and Wimbledon on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September. Check the live status before departure and compare alternative Tube, rail and bus routes for the exact origin and destination rather than assuming one replacement works for the whole branch.

02

Elizabeth line on Sunday morning

On Sunday 6 September, the planned calendar lists no Elizabeth line service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway until 07:45. Early airport or long-distance connections need particular care: allow a meaningful buffer and confirm the first workable service in TfL Journey Planner.

03

Suffragette line

TfL lists no Suffragette line service between Gospel Oak and Woodgrange Park on Sunday 6 September. Nearby alternatives can require additional walking or interchange time, so check accessibility and step-free needs against the full replacement journey.

04

Bank station walkway maintenance

The moving walkways between the Central and Northern line platforms at Bank are scheduled to close on 5 and 6 September for annual maintenance. Temporary signs will direct passengers by another route; allow longer for an interchange, especially with luggage or limited mobility.

05

Event pressure

White Hart Lane is expected to be very busy on Saturday around the 17:00 event, particularly from 16:00–18:00 and 21:30–23:00. If that corridor is not your destination, an earlier or alternative route may reduce crowding. Follow station staff and never wait in an unsafe position for a quieter train.

Final check

This guide reflects TfL information checked on 4 September 2026. Engineering plans and operational conditions can change. Use TfL status updates and Journey Planner immediately before travel; for a fixed flight, exam or medical appointment, keep a second route and extra time.
