Free is not universal

TfL distinguishes its facilities from those operated by others, which may charge.

Some toilets are beyond ticket barriers. A map marker does not establish that a facility can be reached free from the street.

Match the facility to the need

An accessible toilet and a Changing Places facility are not the same thing.

Check the official details and opening information for the intended stop, especially where the day depends on particular equipment or access.

Build in a second option

Opening arrangements and faults can change.

Keep another suitable stop nearby rather than depending on a single unchecked facility. This guide has not inspected a toilet or verified its live condition.
