London Jazz Festival returns: choose the concert, not just the festival date
The EFG London Jazz Festival runs from 13 to 22 November, with concert halls, clubs and free performances offering very different nights out. The first decision is which room and programme you actually want—not whether to buy a single festival ticket.

Start with the opening-night choice
Jazz Voice is at the Royal Festival Hall on Friday 13 November at 7.30pm.
Guy Barker and the festival orchestra are joined by soloists including Lizz Wright, Emma Smith and Liv Warfield, with Jumoké Fashola hosting. The venue gives an approximate three-hour running time.
This is a particular concert, not admission to every festival event.

A different room changes the evening
The Barbican programme runs across its Hall, Milton Court, cinema and FreeStage.
Coltrane 100 is listed for 13 November at 7.30pm; Asha Puthli follows on 14 November at 7.30pm. Use each event’s own page for the line-up, conditions and current booking status.
The festival dates describe a city-wide programme, not a continuous performance in one building.

The Southbank page advertises Jazz Voice from £46, while the festival listing quotes £48–£100.50 including fees.
Those are advertised figures from different listings, not a tested basket or a promise that the lowest band remains available. Choose a seat and check the final total before comparing it with another concert.
Give one booking enough space
For a first visit, one main performance is a clearer plan than trying to cross London between several short sets.
Save the correct venue address, keep the ticket’s local start time and leave room for the journey home. A free foyer performance can be a lower-commitment alternative, but free does not establish guaranteed capacity or a reserved seat.
Our useful next step
Use the official festival programme to make a shortlist, then open the individual venue page.
This is a programme-led preview, not a review of a show we have attended. We have not completed a purchase or tested live ticket inventory.
The free Barbican concert below is a separate, dated option rather than a substitute ticket for the gala.
Questions, answered
Does one ticket cover the whole festival?
Do not assume so. Choose and check the individual event and venue; this preview does not advertise a festival-wide pass.
Are the listed prices live availability?
No. They are advertised prices checked on 30 October; the organiser’s current booking flow controls availability and the final total.
