This weekend: puppets, not a staged performance
Little Angel lists its free Marionettes exhibition for 5–6 September at Little Angel Workshop. This is an exhibition, not a children’s theatre performance. Check entry arrangements before travelling and use it as an introduction to how puppets are made and moved.
Little Angel: book ahead by age
The Pied Piper: A Rat’s Tale runs 12 September–7 November at Little Angel Studios for audiences over five. Pip and Posy Live on Stage runs 19 September–22 November at Little Angel Theatre and is aimed at ages two to five. The operator uses different venues, so follow the address on your booking.
Polka: an early-years festival
Big Dreams takes place on 19–20 September. The listed age bands differ: Multicolore is for 18 months–six, MC Grammar for three–seven and The Tale of the Loneliest Whale for four–eight on Saturday. Sunday includes Family Rave for zero–four, Dancing with Colours for four–eight and Nick Sharratt’s drawalong for three–seven. Choose a suitable session rather than treating the festival as one all-age ticket.

Across all venues, check relaxed-performance dates, wheelchair arrangements, buggy storage and whether an infant needs a ticket.
