Two days with different priorities
Saturday 7 November includes a DJ set from Eats Everything and a German Bier Festival with a Queen tribute act.
Sunday 8 November is promoted as an earlier family experience, with a children’s rave and singalong entertainment. The venue also advertises a bonfire and fireworks-and-drone display across the weekend.
Choose the day before the extras
Begin with the people in your group and the time you want to travel home.
A family-focused programme may suit an earlier outing; a music-led evening rewards a different plan. Check which activities require an additional ticket and what the entry product actually includes.
Do not infer unlimited rides or skating from a programme photograph.
Arrival and display time are different
The venue listing gives 16:00 gates, but use the day-specific organiser schedule for the display and last admission.
Save the exact entrance and allow time after reaching the area. A gate-opening time should not become the meeting time for a group that still needs to collect food or find a viewing position.
Think about the journey downhill as well as up
Check Alexandra Palace’s own travel and access information before choosing your route.
Agree a meeting point and an alternative if the first service is crowded. Keep a warm layer available for waiting after the display.
