What happens
2B Or Not 2B Collective leads a structured life-drawing session designed for beginners as well as experienced participants. The official listing says guidance is included and paper and drawing materials are provided; you may also bring your own.
Who runs it
The organiser describes 2B Or Not 2B as a people-of-colour-run collective that centres underrepresented tutors and models. This is a participatory workshop rather than an exhibition or drop-in display.
Entry strategy
No ticket is required, but capacity is limited. Southbank Centre advises arriving early and operates one-in-one-out entry if the room becomes full. Free entry therefore does not guarantee a place at 18:00.
Access in the room
The event is relaxed: noise and movement are accepted and participants may enter and leave. BSL interpretation is listed. The Clore Ballroom is on Level 2 of Royal Festival Hall and has step-free access by ramp; check live lift and route information before travel.
What to bring
Materials and paper are supplied, so the essential item is time to queue before the start. Bring personal drawing tools only if you prefer them. The organiser does not publish a dress code or guarantee a particular view, seat or model format.
Travel and nearby plan
Waterloo is the closest major rail and Underground interchange; Embankment is across the Thames. Keep the rest of the evening nearby: the riverside, South Bank food options and free public art make flexible additions without risking another fixed-time booking.
Verification
Checked against the direct organiser page on 20 September 2026. Southbank Centre remains the authority for capacity, cancellation and access changes; LONNOW moves this listing out of active discovery after its approximate finish.
