Greenwich Park adds scale and one of the district’s strongest views, but the climb changes the pace of a family or accessibility-led day. Check entrances and step-free information before setting the route.
Arrive a different way
Rail and DLR are practical; river travel makes the journey part of the day. Compare the return route separately because evening frequency, weather and cost may change the best choice.
Look beyond the visitor core
Residential Greenwich, Deptford, East Greenwich and the Peninsula offer different daily lives. A pleasant market visit is not enough evidence for a housing decision.
